Federal Government

PRM actively supports federal agencies. We manage data warehouses and transaction databases. Management includes development of hardware/software specifications, database design, data migration and database maintenance. PRM also develops web interfaces that allow users to query the databases via a browser. The interfaces typically allow pre-defined and ad hoc queries. PRM provides additional management support for web interfaces, including specification, installation, and configuration of load-balancing software. We collect and evaluate statistics for web sites, including number of hits, peak traffic loads, etc.

Environmental

We provide a wide range of support to environmental engineering companies. Our services range from statistical evaluation of chemical databases to design, installation, and population of databases to track field data. PRM has a high level of environmental expertise. We understand the level of effort involved in collecting and analyzing environmental sampling data, qualifying the data, and evaluating the data for site characterization and risk assessment purposes. PRM has provided database security for customers anticipating litigation, while fully enabling customer access to the database via an intuitive browser interface for querying and reporting purposes.

Non-Profit

Non-profit organizations often have large visions and limited budgets. PRM understands this, and has worked closely with several non-profit organizations to develop effective and reasonably priced database solutions. We have worked closely with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to develop an Oracle database for use by multiple office locations to track project and grant information. PRM migrated data from an existing database to a fully relational database which was designed in close cooperation with the Foundation staff. PRM also maintains the Foundation's web site at www.nfwf.org.

Private Sector

PRM supports a variety of private sector customers. We offer web site design and hosting for commercial enterprises. PRM designs, specifies, installs, and configures networks for small and medium-size offices. We have also developed databases to track technical and legal data for a variety of customers.
